The Sphere Of Influence Organization is a school based organization that matches mentors with at-risk youth at the Martin De Porres High School. Mentors meet with their youngsters at least two times a month to play sports, go to the movies, visit museums, go bowling, a barbecue/sports day, do tutoring, or just to “hang out” and talk. The program enables youngsters to build close and lasting relationships with the community, and mentors provide the leadership and role models so many youngsters need.

The Sphere Of Influence is an organization designed to meet the needs of at-risk youth. By providing youngsters with caring adult role models and mentors, the program helps kids find their way in an increasingly complex world. With so many negative influences pressing on today’s kids, having a positive adult role model is an important factor in how youngsters fare in life now and in the future.
