On September 6, 2005 a new chapter in the history of Martin De Porres was written with the opening of our Martin De Porres Academy For Career Development in Elmont NY. This program is designed to meet the needs of young men and women from ages 15-21 in a secondary school setting with the focus on career, vocational, and employment training.

The program will provide academic instruction based upon the NY State Learning Standards as well as hands on experiences in business enterprises, performing arts, home improvement skills, life skills, culinary arts, maintenance services and community services. Our programs are housed at St. Boniface Parish.

Our school facilities are exceptional providing all the space needed to fulfill our commitments to the young men and women entrusted to our care. During this first year of operation 75 students will be engaged in our career development academy.
