The newsletter is published Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring by students and staff of the Martin De Porres High School in Rosedale. The purpose of our MDP Lasallian Community Newsletter is to capture in photo and word the significant events of our entire Lasallian Community (Our three school sites, our two group home sites, our residential, our after school centers in Queens and Elmont as well as significant staff events) while providing an outlet for student creativity. Students contribute poetry, art, and editorials while learning the basics of journalism and design.

As a public relations tool, the newsletter spreads the good news of our MDP Lasallian ministry to our Board of Directors, the DeLaSalle Brothers Communities of the LINE District as well as to our Lasallian Colleagues in Schools and Agencies of the Northeast Region as well as with our International Center in Rome.
